Cooking pizza

So you've bought some fresh dough balls and now you want to know how to turn them into some tasty pizzas. Well, we've got you covered. We've got 2 simple techniques for you that will get you that delicious pizza you've been waiting for – the oven method and the frying pan method.
What you'll need:
- Flour (we recommend semolina but plain flour also works)
- A pizza sauce (check out our Easy-peasy Pizza Sauce recipe)
- Your favourite toppings
- An oven or frying pan and grill depending on the method you choose.
1: The Oven
This is a great way to make beautiful pizza and all you've got to do is whack it straight in the oven! Boom!
- Fire up your oven to 250ºC/500F/gas 9. We want it hot!
- Make sure your dough ball is at room temperature so it's nice and stretchy.
- Dust a clean work surface with flour.
- Using a floured rolling pin or your hands (make sure they're dry!) shape and stretch the dough into a rustic circle around 10 inches in diameter.
- Move your newly shaped dough onto a floured baking tray or pizza stone and add your toppings.
- Bake in the oven for 7–10 minutes.
- Eat and enjoy!
2: The Frying Pan
Maybe the closest thing to wood-fired pizza that you might get in a pizzeria.
It's so easy, yet so delicious! Hallelujah!
- Preheat your grill to the highest setting. The hotter the better!
- Make sure your dough ball is at room temperature so it's nice and stretchy.
- Dust a clean work surface with flour.
- Using a floured rolling pin or your hands (make sure they're dry!) shape and stretch the dough into a rustic circle around 10 inches in diameter.
- Heat up your frying pan on the hob until smoking hot.
- Carefully move your newly shaped dough into the pan – no need for any oil or butter.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce and add your favourite toppings.
- Once the base begins brown (it should only take 1-2 minutes, you can check by lifting up a corner with a spatula) transfer the pan to the highest shelf under the grill until the pizza looks golden and bubbly.
- Eat and enjoy!
- Repeat until you're stuffed (if that's even possible).
